Thommessen's team consisted of Bendik Christoffersen, Jens Naas-Bibow, Ervin Auren and Petter Sveen Nilsen.
The project is one of many wind power projects Thommessen has advised in recently, e.g. the refinancing of and raising of capital to Midfjellet Vindkraft AS, the financing of Hamnefjell wind farm, legal advising in relation to Austri Vind DA, the sale of Bjerkreim Vind AS and project development/sale of Tonstad wind farm and Tellenes wind farm.
The announcement that the company Fosen Vind DA has made a positive investment decision to build a wind power plant with a combined capazity of 1 000 MW in Fosen, in Mid-Norway was made 23rd February 2016. Fosen Vind DA is a joint venture company owned by Statkraft SF (52,1 %), TrønderEnergi AS (7,9 %) and Nordic Wind Power DA (40 %). The wind power plant will consist of six wind farms and have a total of 278 tubines. Construction start is in 2016 and will be finished by the end of 2020. Nordic Wind Power DA was sold from Agder Energi AS, TrønderEnergi AS and NTE to a European investor consortium created by Credit Suisse Energy Infrastructure Partners.
