Morten Emil primarily advices on capital markets law and securities law, especially the regulation of inside information, the prospectus rules and the regulation of derivatives.

In addition to assist issuers, investment banks and investors with various securities law issues, Morten Emil has extensive experience from capital market transactions, both in the debt and equity market.

Morten Emil has a special responsibility for listing of debt instruments, funding for regulated undertakings (including hybrid bonds, subordinated bonds and securitisation) as well as derivatives and structured products.

Morten Emil also has extensive experience from the regulation of wholesale energy markets, including contact with the authorities in connection with the market abuse and transparency rules in the physical energy markets.

Morten Emil is a frequently used lecturer, in addition to being a supervisor and external examiner.
