Marius Holm Rynning heads Thommessen’s Tax Department and Asset Management practice and serves on Thommessen’s Board of Directors. He is one of Norway’s leading advisers to private equity and venture capital firms, asset managers and other financial sponsors on the structuring and establishment of private investment funds and related sponsor matters.
His practice covers private equity, venture capital, infrastructure, real estate, credit and other alternative investment strategies. He advises sponsors throughout the fund lifecycle, including on fund formation, management company and GP structures, carried interest structures, co-investments, employee incentive programmes and other sponsor economics.
Marius represents a broad range of leading Norwegian and international private equity and venture capital firms, asset managers and institutional investors. He has been with Thommessen since 2008 and became a partner in 2017.
