Thommessen adds new partners

Nye partnere 2022

With three internal partner promotions, we strengthen our expertise within M&A, bank, financing, insolvency and restructuring, and real estate.

We are proud to present Nicolai Julsvoll, Frida Stene-Slotte and Mette Borger Fyksen as new Thommessen partners from 1 January 2023.

- We are extremely pleased to appoint three leading commercial lawyers as new Thommessen partners. Nicolai, Frida and Mette are all well-liked team players with cutting-edge expertise in their respective fields, says Managing Partner Sverre Tyrhaug.

  • Nicolai Julsvoll has been with Thommessen's M&A team since starting as an Associate in 2013. His experience and professional competence include both M&A and capital market transactions, and in recent years he has worked with a large number of IPO's and private placements, takeover offers on the stock exchange, as well as private M&A transactions – particularly in the Private Equity segment. As a new partner addition to the market leading mergers & acquisition practice in Norway, Nicolai's focus areas will be M&A and ECM transactions, with a particular focus on players within Venture Capital, Private Equity and technology.
  • Frida Stene-Slotte joined Thommessen in 2014, straight after completing her studies, and has since been a part of our banking, financing, insolvency and restructuring team. Frida assists both lenders and borrowers in Norwegian and international loan agreements, syndicated and structured loan financing as well as the issuance of bond loans across industries. Going forward, she will have a particular focus on bond loans and restructuring. Frida is a distinctly good project manager, and has also been central to the design and implementation of our various project tools in several larger projects.
  • Mette Borger Fyksen has been a part of Thommessen's real estate team since 2011. She mainly works with transactions, and assists everything from facilitators, institutional investors and real estate funds to large and small real estate companies. Mette is also an important resource in the work with lease contracts. In recent years, Mette has had particular responsibility for sustainability within the real estate industry. She has given several lectures on the topic and has, among other things, worked on implementing real estate in Thommessen's Sustainability Database – our digital tool for regulations and initiatives within sustainability.
