Hasse joined the firm in 1990 and has been a transaction partner since 1996. His practice includes a wide range of M&A and equity capital markets work, acting for corporate clients, PE firms and leading investment banks.

He is consistently ranked in tier 1 in Norway within both Corporate/Capital Markets and M&A. He was ranked as no. 1 for IPOs and other ECM transactions by Finansavisen in their 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 surveys of Norwegian commercial lawyers, and he was ranked among the top 7 M&A lawyers in all of the same surveys.

Hasse has been the Chairman of Thommessen since 2014.
