Thommessen has acted as legal advisor to the lenders on the NOK 2 billion refinancing for SAREN Energy, a Norway-based waste-to-energy company owned by Patrizia SE.
The refinancing comprised a syndicated bank loan and private placements, supporting the continued growth and operations of SAREN Energy's waste-to-energy business in Norway.
SAREN Energy operates waste incineration and heating plants in Sarpsborg, Fredrikstad and Tromsø, providing sustainable energy solutions through the conversion of non-recyclable waste into heat.
SAREN Energy is owned by Patrizia SE, a leading partner for global real assets investment management, headquartered in Germany.
