Inaugural Norwegian Derivatives Seminar: Regulatory Developments, Market Practices, and ISDA Documentation

GETTYIMAGES 1207977792
- , Thommessen's office, VIA, Ruseløkkveien 38, 12th floor, Oslo, Oslo

DNB Carnegie, the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) and Advokatfirmaet Thommessen AS are pleased to invite you to a half-day seminar on derivatives in Oslo, Norway.

The use of derivatives in the Norwegian market is growing, as an increasing number of financial institutions, corporates and other market participants turn to derivatives for risk management, hedging, and investment purposes. As the market develops, so does the need for a solid understanding of the legal framework, documentation standards and regulatory landscape that underpins derivatives trading for and with Norwegian counterparties.

The seminar brings together legal, regulatory and market perspectives, with contributions from leading practitioners across the derivatives landscape.

The programme will cover:

  • Derivatives documentation under Norwegian law
  • Practical considerations for trading derivatives
  • Current regulatory developments
  • Tools and resources available to market participants through ISDA

The seminar is relevant for banks, financial institutions, asset managers, insurance companies, pension funds, corporates, advisers and other entities active, or potentially active in the future, in the Norwegian derivatives market.

We look forward to welcoming you in Oslo.
