Carbon capture, storage and removal are moving from ambition to action. The integration of CDRs into the EU Emissions Trading System, expanded public funding mechanisms and growing commercial interest are reshaping the market – creating real momentum and new opportunities for industry, investors and policymakers alike.

Join us for a seminar exploring what these developments mean in practice; from regulatory and market implications to the commercial and political dynamics driving the next phase of CCS and CDR in Norway and Europe.

Building on our previous events, the programme brings together perspectives from across the CCS and CDR landscape. We will explore:

  • the market impact of bringing CDRs into the EU ETS
  • the latest developments in Enova's competition-based CCS support scheme
  • carbon credits and compliance under the Green Transition Directive
  • the journey of scaling direct air capture from startup to market
  • Norway's CCS ambition beyond Longship, including the political landscape and the question of whether Norway can become Europe's carbon vault

The seminar is relevant for project developers, investors, corporates, advisers and policymakers working in, or assessing opportunities within, carbon removal and CCS.

We look forward to welcoming you in Oslo.
