  • Henrik Hagberg, Partner Advokat

    Henrik has broad experience from working with both contentious and non-contentious matters within the entire shipping and offshore industry, inter alia in connection with shipbuilding and offshore construction, sale & purchase and financing of vessels and rigs, including project finance, emergency response and casualty investigation and marine and energy insurance related matters, including insurance cover disputes. Henrik has been involved in the majority of the maritime casualties in Norwegian waters the last 10 years. Henrik also has experience from the Norwegian oil and gas industry, in particular with respect to the Norwegian gas export industry.

  • Emilie Falch, Specialist Counsel Advokat, Solicitor (England & Wales)

    Emilie Falch is a Specialist Counsel in Thommessen. She is a dual qualified English and Norwegian lawyer and part of the shipping and offshore team.

    Emilie is an experienced shipping lawyer. She was several years with Wikborg Rein in their shipping offshore department in London and in Oslo. She has also been in-house legal counsel in DNV and worked with marine insurance (P&I and FDD) in Skuld. Emilie provides advice within all aspects maritime law. She has particular experience in assisting shipowners, charterers, yards and marine insurers with contractual advice and negotiations in addition to dispute resolution and court and arbitration proceedings in England and Norway. She also has experience with sale and purchase, financing and casualty work.

    Emilie is a board member of Incentra SA and vice president of WISTA Norway. She is part of the Center for Continuing Legal Education’s (Juristenes Utdanningssenter) academic committee for Shipping Offshore and she is an external examiner in English Law of Contract at the University of Oslo.
