Kristoffer is a finance partner and heads Thommessen’s financial restructuring and insolvency practice. He has broad experience in a wide range of financial transactions with particular on special situations, financially distressed scenarios, restructurings and workouts in various industry sectors. Working closely with lenders, borrowers, financial advisors and other stakeholders, he has been involved in all sizeable restructurings in Norway during recent years.
Kristoffer is also the firm’s specialist in structured finance, repo transactions, securities lending and derivatives.
He was recognised in the “top 40 under 40” awards by the Norwegian finance magazine Kapital. Kristoffer and the firm’s Banking and Restructuring Group have been awarded top rankings by legal publications such as the Chambers and Partners, Legal 500 and IFLR1000.
