The Thommessen deal team was led by Rune Ulriksen Steinsland (Partner, M&A) and consisted of members from our M&A, Competition Law and Fisheries and Aquaculture departments.
Thommessen has advised Måsøval Eiendom AS (Måsøval) in connection with its agreed purchase of 55.6% of the shares in Ice Fish Farms AS (ICE) from Midt-Norsk Havbruk AS (MNH), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTS ASA. As part of the transaction, Måsøval also sell all its shares in Norway Royal Salmon ASA to MHN. Completion of the transactions are subject to customary closing conditions, including among others, competition clearance. ICE currently holds production licenses for 20,800 tons at the east coast of Iceland, and has submitted applications for an additional 16,800 tons of production licenses. The deal value is approx. NOK 1.3 billion.
