Partner Audun Stornes, Partner Kristine Hyldmo Bjørnvik, Partner Andreas Meidell, Managing Associate Henrik Fabian Torgrimsby, Senior Associate Hedda Rysst and Senior Associate Per Ole Svor, have written the Norwegian chapter in the newest Chambers Guide on International Arbitration 2021. The guide provides the latest legal information on the impact of COVID-19, arbitral tribunals, challenges to jurisdiction, preliminary and interim relief, collection and submission of evidence, confidentiality, types of remedies, enforcement and review of awards, class action, and third-party funding.
- We see a clear shift towards a modernization of Norwegian Arbitrations, being adapted to international arbitral trends and welcoming digitalisations as well as use of videoconferencing in hearings. This enhances both the quality and efficiencies of arbitrations, says Partner Andreas Meidell.
