The guide provides an overview of the law and practice of patent litigation law across a variety of jurisdictions, and Thommessen has written the Norwegian chapter.
Thommessen's Managing Associate Magnus Hauge Greaker have together with partners Camilla Vislie and Eirik W. Raanes written the Norwegian chapter in the newly published country-specific Q&A. The Norwegian chapter provides information about the current issues affecting patent litigation in Norway. The authors addresses topics such as direct and indirect patent infringement, patent invalidity, post-grant opposition proceedings and injunctions, and future patent litigation growth areas.
- Although the number of patent litigations in Norway each year is relative limited there has been a significant number of prominent cases from various fields of technology the recent years. We hope that this concise and practical guide will be useful for our clients and other stakeholders that are facing a patent dispute in Norway, says Greaker.
