The guide provides expert legal commentary on the regulation of the renewable energy sector in Norway.
The newly published guide provides expert legal commentary on the regulation of the renewable energy sector in Norway, including the generation, transmission, distribution and supply of electricity, as well as climate change laws and regulations. Furthermore, the trends and developments article provides an analysis of the recent policy developments, especially regarding onshore and offshore wind power, hydropower taxation, carbon capture and storage (CCS) and hydrogen.
Partner Bendik Christoffersen, Managing Associate Siren Skalstad Ellensen, Managing Associate Henrik Fabian Torgrimsby and Associate Gro Grytli Mostuen have written both the Law and Practice section and the Trends and Development section.
- The electricity system in Norway is of course unique since it consists almost exclusively of renewable energy.
