The first report on human rights due diligence under the Norwegian Transparency Act shall be published by 30 June 2023. The human rights due diligence findings, including actual adverse impacts and significant risks, will have to be disclosed in the online report.
The Norwegian due diligence legal framework aims to prevent and mitigate adverse impacts, while respecting the fundamental rights of people and communities. Companies are expected to tackle deep rooted and structural issues that continue to obstruct just and decent working conditions for the people and communities.
In this webinar, Thommessen will give an introduction to the due diligence and reporting requirements in the Norwegian Transparency Act. In addition, Impactt will share their insights into what the due diligence process is all about, illustrated by case studies.
The webinar will be held in English.
